PRODUCT CENTER

The bridge-type sludge scraper operates with a reciprocating motion, scraping bottom sludge into a collection pit for discharge. It is used for sludge scraping and removal in horizontal flow sedimentation tanks, where water enters from one end and exits from the other, with a sloped tank bottom (approximately 8/1000). The gauge typically ranges from 4 to 25 meters; when the tank width is larger, it can be designed as a structure shared by multiple tanks, with single drive for gauges of 4-8 meters.
The center-driven sludge scraper primarily consists of a central support, brackets, scraper arms with scraper plates, a walkway bridge, a small sludge scraper for the collection pit, a scum skimmer, a scum hopper, and a drive mechanism.
The walkway bridge is constructed with steel structural beams, reinforced underneath by angle steel cross-supports, and topped with a walkway deck. Ladders connect the walkway bridge to the central support at both ends. The bridge is cambered to L/500 during manufacturing, providing sufficient strength to support normal loads (including a live load of 750 N/m²).
The scraper plate assembly consists of scraper arms, scraper plates, hanger rods, and rubber plates. The overall scraper plates are shaped in a logarithmic spiral to enhance sludge collection efficiency. A solid rubber roller, sized 4250, is installed at the lower end of the scraper plates, with the weight of the scraping section supported by travel wheels to ensure smooth scraping, improving efficiency over traditional designs. Rubber squeegees are fastened to the scraper plates using clamping strips and bolts.
The scraper arms are made of steel pipes, with brackets connected by bolts to the underside of the walkway bridge. The upper section of the scraper arms is hinged to the brackets, while the lower section connects to the scraper plate framework. During operation, the arms incline at an angle to the vertical, using their weight to push sludge via the plates from the tank edges toward the central collection pit for discharge. Since the arms, brackets, and scraper plates are all hinged, if sludge accumulates thickly or hardens during prolonged shutdowns, the arms automatically pivot backward on startup, allowing the plates to scrape sludge layer by layer, preventing equipment damage and sludge buildup on the tank bottom.
The scum removal system includes a scum skimmer plate, brackets, a scum rake, and a scum hopper. The skimmer plate is bent from steel sheets into a "[" shape for enhanced strength. It rotates with the machine to collect floatables, which are then raked into the hopper and discharged outside the tank. (5) The machine features nylon brushes that automatically clean the inner walls of the effluent channels; these brushes match the channel dimensions, are adjustable within a certain range, and are easy to replace.
Central support: The central rotary disc uses a single-row, four-point contact slewing bearing with an effective sealing system. A double-hinge connection between the walkway bridge and the central support reduces overturning moments and rotational resistance. The large slewing bearing inside the central support withstands the heavy load and substantial overturning moment of the bridge, eliminating vibration during operation.
The drive motor and reducer use a cycloidal pinwheel reducer, offering a compact structure that minimizes connection errors, with low noise and high torque transmission. An overload torque protection device, adjustable, ensures safe and reliable operation. Travel wheels are made of premium nylon, providing excellent wear resistance, anti-aging properties, and resistance to cracking.
The control box includes an electrical overload torque protection device that triggers an alarm and immediate automatic shutdown when high resistance or faults occur.

Bottom sludge scraping and surface scum removal. The drive unit uses an axle-mounted gear reducer motor directly connected to the drive roller, providing a compact structure and high mechanical efficiency.
Parallel staggered scraper plates ensure continuous operation and high sludge collection efficiency; rubber scraper sheets at the bottom of the stainless steel plates guarantee thorough and clean scraping without sludge floating.
Tank bottom slope ratio of 1:8 (or 1:10), making sludge resistance negligible; special hinged structure provides strong overload capacity.
The main beam is made of square steel for high structural strength, finished with hot-dip galvanizing and topcoat painting for strong corrosion resistance.
Simple operation, with remote control capability.
